Scout selected for World Jamboree - 25-10-2005

Congratulations to James who has gained a place on the 2007 World Jamboree. James is one of 6 people from the Maidstone West District who has been selected to represent Kent, and Maidstone Methodist Scouts at the World Jamboree. James showed that he could work well in a team on a long weekend camp back in October. He joins Ian and Clare, who were selected as leaders for the Kent contingent, as well as some 100 other Kent Scouts. James is the first Scout to be selected from Maidstone Methodist Scout Group since the Holland World Jamboree in 1995. We will keep you posted with the progress of the World Jamboree and the things that James will be doing to prepare himself for the experience.
