Cubs Big Day Out 2006 - 12-10-2006

On Saturday 7th October 2006 the Methodist cubs took part in the annual Kent Cubs Big Day Out at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham.

The day was bright and sunny with not a drop of rain – which made it all the more enjoyable. We spent the day exploring the ships and museum.

We even explored the HMS Ocelot a submarine built at the dockyard.

We went into the Ropery and saw the long room where the rope is made.

One of the highlights of the day had to be meeting our new Chief Scout Peter Duncan! We even had our photo taken with him and Apache Bear as part of our 90th Birthday celebration competition!

Everyone enjoyed the day, and the long sleep that followed!!
