Bike Ride to Manor Park - 09-06-2007On Saturday 9th June the socuts and explorers went on a bik ride form the Methodist Centre to Manor Park in West Malling. We split into 2 groups with the faster scouts and explorers in one group and everyone else in another group. The day looked to be getting off to a bad but by 10 am the sun was trying to creap out and by the time we reached out final destination it was glorious sun shine. Everyone taking part managed to reach Manor Park for Lunch time where we had a BBQ with parents. It was a great day out. After a filling lunch and a few games in the park we packed up and said fair well to the Scouts and their families while the Explorers and leaders made the journey back into Maidstone.
